The Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section) features a comprehensive traffic control and surveillance system. Control personnel can monitor tunnel operations in real time from the control room in the Administration Building, enabling rapid response when necessary. The building also utilizes renewable energy, high-efficiency air-conditioning and lighting systems, low-carbon materials and a rainwater recycling system. It has received a Provisional Platinum rating in the New Building category under the BEAM Plus environmental assessment. For more details, please refer to the video below.
