中九龍幹線 「年青工程師特輯」
Central Kowloon Route “Young Engineers Discovery Series”

中九龍幹線團隊特別製作共五集的「年青工程師特輯」,讓大眾了解工程師的多元化工作範疇和職責,並希望藉此吸引年輕人投身工程界,為香港未來的基建發展作出貢獻。

短片正分階段播出和同步上載路政署的Facebook專頁Instagram帳戶YouTube頻道,以及香港工程師學會的YouTube頻道。

The Central Kowloon Route (CKR) Project Team has specially produced a five-episode “Young Engineers Discovery Series” to let members of the public understand the diverse specialties and responsibilities of engineers, and to attract young people to join the engineering sector and contribute to the Hong Kong’s future infrastructure development.

The video series is now being launched in phases and concurrently uploaded to the Facebook page, Instagram account and YouTube Channel of the Highways Department and the YouTube Channel of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

The Heritage

以中九龍幹線成功保留二級歷史建築的舊油蔴地警署為例,介紹工程師在建設同時需兼顧古蹟文物保育。

Drawing upon the successful preservation of the former Yau Ma Tei Police Station, a Grade II historic building along the CKR, it shows that engineers shall consider heritage conservation during construction.

海底奇招

Finding Tunnel

透過中九龍幹線的海底隧道建造工程,介紹工程師「上天、入地、出海」的工作需要。

Through the construction of the underwater tunnel of the CKR, this video showcases the diverse tasks that engineers undertake in different situations including “Up to the Sky, Down Underground, and Out to the Sea”.
